Data Standards
Locations, disciplines, packages, and areas defined at the company level.
What is it?
The master data standards that operational modules reuse: location hierarchy, trades and specialties, delivery packages, and work areas.
Locations
Hierarchical structure of locations: buildings, floors, zones, and spaces. Used as reference in Punch List, Completion Walks, and other modules.
Disciplines
The trades and specialties available in the company, organized as Trades with nested Specialties. Each trade needs a name, such as Carpentry or Plumbing. You can also give it an identifier code and a color for visual recognition across the platform. When you add a specialty, you assign it to the parent trade it belongs to.
Packages
Delivery packages or groupings used to organize submittals and documentation.
Areas
Work areas or sectors defined at the company level.
How to use it
- Go to Company Configuration → Data Standards.
- Define the Disciplines (trades and specialties) used across modules.
- Set up the Locations hierarchy and the Packages and Areas your projects will reuse.
Data standards configured at company level are inherited by every project and can be extended or overridden per project.
